In botanical formulation, waxes play an important role. When it comes to the eyes, not all waxes work. At room temperature, some waxes can be very hard which makes application difficult. The eyelid skin in 4X thinner that facial skin, so a harder wax would involve more tugging and pulling to apply - not ideal for eye cream formulation. Start by gently cleansing your face and eyelid area. This would include removing face and eye makeup. For my patients with mature, dry eyelid skin - I move them to my double cleanse method for face and eyes. Towel dry. Clean skin is now ready for Eye Eye F™ Eye Balm. Soften a very small amount of F BALM between clean fingertips. Gently blot and rub into eyelid area, lower and upper if desired. F BALM can also benefit facial skin. Go for it! Remember that waxes like ROSE WAX need body heat and a thin layer to fully absorb.
